Our 2026 Second Quarter MVB is Emily Sykes
Can you share a few sentences about yourself and how long you’ve been certified with the plan?
I live in Norton Shores, Michigan with my husband and our two kids. I have been an insurance broker since 2020 when I joined my dad, Gary Tripp, to work with his agency. I certified with Trinity Health Plan as soon as they were available in Michigan and it was the best decision I could have made for my career.
Why do you feel you’ve been so successful this year?
I am proud of the empathy, patience, and knowledge that I provide to my clients. I believe the key to success is maintaining positive relationships. By becoming a trusted and reliable resource for navigating Medicare, I have a high retention rate and steady referrals. I love that I get to meet so many great new people each year and that I have gotten to know so many extended families through referrals. Partnering with a great plan like THP is also key for keeping clients happy!
What is a fun fact about you, or a favorite quote or adage you’d like to share?
I left my teaching career to work with my dad, so I love being able to still teach through seminars, webinars, and sales presentations!
