Much of the behind-the-scenes activity happening now will guide benefits, product design, and broker readiness over the next several months. Early preparation is essential to delivering competitive, well-designed Medicare plans, and we want to keep you informed as upcoming AEP seasons begin to take shape.

2027 Certification Timeline

Certification for the 2027 plan year is currently tracking to open on June 23, 2026.

Your Broker Account Executive will continue to keep you updated as we get closer to this date and will share any changes should the timeline shift.

Key Milestones Coming Up

Here’s a look at what’s happening behind the scenes as the 2027 plan year takes shape:

• Important update on New to Medicare and Health Risk Assessment commissions.
• July 2026: Bid Season
  During this period, we submit all 2027 benefit designs and plan details to CMS. This step sets the foundation for the upcoming year’s product offerings.
• August and September 2026: First Looks
  Brokers will get their first preview of what’s coming for the 2027 plan year. These early insights help you prepare for the season ahead.
