Each quarter, Saint Alphonsus Health Plan recognizes outstanding broker performance by awarding Most Valuable Broker (MVB) award to the broker who produced the most business for the plan.
And now, without further ado — drum roll please...
Our 2025 First Quarter MVB is Ernie Shell
Meet Ernie
Over the past 30 years, Ernie has been an administrator for Intermediate Care Facilities for the developmentally disabled, an adjudicator for Social Security in determining disability claims and has represented individuals filing for disability. Fast forward to five years ago, he began assisting his clients with their Medicare decisions and has been certified with Saint Alphonsus for a little over two years.
The key to Ernie's success
This past AEP, Ernie had a few of his clients request to be moved to Saint Alphonsus Health Plan. They were referred by friends who loved their plan, and as Ernie asked more questions it became easy to understand why. Members of the plan have confidence their bills will be paid in a timely manner and doctors in network ask for it by name. The Cash Back benefit is very appealing to his clients who rarely seek medical assistance, not to mention to competitive offerings in the Formulary.
