No, the transportation benefit is unlimited.
Medically necessary trips for non-emergency appointments to plan-approved participating locations, such as your doctor’s office or pharmacy, are covered. The transportation benefit does not cover stretcher rides. Prior authorization is needed for trips exceeding 75 miles one-way, or trips to non-participating providers. You can start the prior authorization process by calling SafeRide at 833-944-0516.
